Today's Lesson

God often referred to His faithful followers as "My Servant ______." This site is devoted to helping you join the ranks of saints throughout history who God called his faithful servants. By doing so, you too can fill your name in that blank and one day be welcomed into heaven with those blessed words,
“…Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” – Matthew 25:23

To be a faithful servant of God, the Christian must develop three essential disciplines in life:

PRAY

1The Christian life begins with prayer, seeking salvation from our sin and entrance into God’s family. The godly life continues and is nourished by constant prayer to our heavenly Father, who beckons us to “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) in order to “…come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16) Click the PRAY button below to learn more about prayer, suggested prayer items, and to access your personal, on-line prayer journal.

STUDY

2As Christians, we are to become students of the Bible, God’s Holy Word. It is our map, our user’s manual, our textbook, our spiritual sustenance for living a godly life. The STUDY portion of this site provides comprehensive lessons covering all 66 books of the Bible so that you may “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15) Click the STUDY button below to access Bible studies and resource materials.

TEACH

3It is also our responsibility to help others to know and serve God. Before returning to heaven, Jesus instructed His apostles to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20) Click the TEACH button below for teaching aids that will help you fulfill your Great Commission.
