Make Your ways known to me, LORD; teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; I wait for You all day long… The LORD is good and upright; therefore He shows sinners the way. He leads the humble in what is right and teaches them His way. – Psalm 25:4-5, 8-9
So this portion of our web site is designed to equip you to become a better teacher of God’s truths. May this tool enable you to fulfill your Great Commission from God, with is to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you.”
Jesus’ Disciples Serve Him by Telling Others About Him
One of our chief responsibilities as servants and disciples of Christ is to tell others about Him. And how can they hear of and respond to His gospel of salvation from sin and eternal life unless we tell them? Yes, many do not want to here about the gospel, rejecting both it and us. And yes, there is a cost for serving Christ, but any good and lasting deed will require some personal sacrifice. So sacrifice for true joy in this life and for your eternal reward.
The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. – Matthew 10:24-32
But how can they call on Him they have not believed in? And how can they believe without hearing about Him? And how can they hear without a preacher? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who announce the gospel of good things!
